I taught Social Studies to a mixed ability 7th grade class.
Developed and created a four week unit integrating Southwest Asian Geography and Current Events.
Created a PowerPoint presentation in remembrance of the first anniversary of Sept. 11th to help the students understand and analyze U.S.-Arab relations.
Developed interactive websites to assist in teaching about Israel and India
· Chesapeake Elementary School, Chesapeake, OH. 3rd Grade Science, Language Arts, Social Studies.
Taught 3rd grade on a block rotation. Focused on Science and supported the staff in all other subjects.
Created a unit on rocks, soil, and erosion with experiments for student discovery.
Helped chaperone field trips and assisted in class holiday parties.

· (1992-1998) Huntington Contact Crisis Center- I volunteered as a counselor for clients with emotional and psychological problems. While here I worked with suicidal clients, mentally disabled, and assisted with the Rape Crisis Team.
· (1996-2001) Boy Scouts of America- Volunteer Scout Master for two troops in East Huntington and Barboursville, Wv. I helped them reach their merit goals and improving self-esteem.
· (1999-2002) Chesapeake Elementary School- Parent volunteer in a third grade classroom. I tutored the students and presented reading programs.
· (2001-2002) Church Youth Counselor- I was asked to volunteer as a counselor in the young mens program where I planned and taught lessons to boys between Twelve and Eighteen years old.
· (2001) River Valley Child Development Services, Huntington, WV. Supervised children from kindergarten to 3rd grade in a daycare setting. [Meadows Elem., Cammack Elem., and St. Clouds Center. Planned educational and recreational activities. Assisted in computer skills education
